Sapa Door 2086 – HIGH ISOLATED DOORS

SAPA DOOR 2086

The 2086 door system is a part of our Thermo 86 systems and is based on a strong and stable construction with 86mm deep profiles. These are basic insulated with 42 mm glass fibre reinforced
polyamide strips and filled with specially developed insulating rods Sapa Thermo N9 for optimal energy performance. The system offers very good air and rain tightness. Door leaf profiles are available for narrow and module locks as well as with anti-finger trap. Rebate for glass and infill panels 22-56 (64) mm.
This door which provides safe operation and long service life is perfectly suitable for busy public environments requiring high thermal insulation and air and rain performance.

Glazing

Glass/Panel thickness from 20-64mm could be used in 2086 system. Unprotected glazed surfaces that can be reached by persons shall be designed so as to limit the risk of injury. Such glazed surfaces shall be dimensioned so as to withstand the dynamic influence of a person. Applicable standards and requirements should be taken into account.

Threshold alternatives

Door openings should be designed without level differences from inside to outside. Sometimes a threshold is not required because of, for example, moisture or non prevailing weather conditions. When a threshold is installed, it should be as low as possible to facilitate passage. Applicable standards and requirements should be taken into account.

Anti-finger trap protection

In order to reduce the risk of injury due to squeezing, we have developed a solution based on a socalled anti-finger trap edge. Applicable standards and requirements should be taken into account.

Fixing principles

Door elements must be fixed to a stable and suitable wall structure. The choice of fixing method depends on the wall type. The number and location of fixing points depends on the size of the element.

Fittings

Our door system can be easily equipped with the most common fittings available on the market. For optimum functionality it is important that the fittings work together.

Surface finish

We offer the widest surface finishing program for aluminium sections in Scandinavia. Which surface to prefer depends on the desired colour and finish.

Anodising

It is an electrolyticprocess in which an oxide layer is formed. The layer reinforces the surface which becomes resistant to mechanical wear, UV radiation and the influence of aggressive environments. Anodising ensures durability of colour and lustre. Anodising can be delivered in colour Clear anodising, Hardoxal ( bronze to black) and in “stainless steel” look.

Painting

In order to obtain the right quality of the painted surface it is important that the pre-treatment and application of paint, as well as the subsequent curing are done correctly. We can also offer a non chromating pre-treatment. Powder coating is without doubt the dominating painting method today. Painting offers an unlimited selection of colours. In principle, there are no limitations as regards the
colours. The RAL and NCS-S scales offer a large number of colours.

Decoral

The decorative effect on the powder coated section is obtained by applying a pattern on the painted section. Decoral offers a number of different patterns/colours,such as granite, stone, and marble, as well as different kind of wood, such as pinewood, oak, beech, and teak, in addition to Decoral fantasy. All colours are resistant to UV radiation and fully comparable with powder coating.

Sapa Door 2086 with E-frame

E-frame, profile with integrated electronic circuits

Access control system with entry phone, camera, lock and connectors are examples of common components of modern entrance doors.

Our E-frame profile for the 2086 system facilitates wiring as well as the installation and service of the electronic components. The service cover is screwed on through a hidden fixture, which ensures clean appearance and prevents damage.

Sapa 2086 doors with E-frame offer otherwise the same choice of profiles and design solutions as Sapa 2086 doors.
